Electronics Repair: Hometown is a drop off point for The Music Doctor

History:  Hometown Music began operation at 2990 S Main in April 2000.  Chuck Marks, Hometown’s owner worked in Harrisonburg at Ace Music ‘N Electronics from 1979-2000.  Ace Music closed when the owner retired in 2000, and Chuck purchased the music department inventory and started Hometown as a new business in one room of the Ace Music building.  Hometown moved from our original South Main location to Miller Circle in February of 2013

(Coincidently, soon after Hometown moved, the owner of The Guitar & Amp Center retired and closed that store.  We weren’t connected to that process, but their closing did free up the Fender dealership in Harrisonburg which we acquired.)

Street Address: 38 Miller Circle, Harrisonburg Va 22801
We’re just off South Main, behind Wendy’s, one half mile South of Port Republic Road ( About 4/5 of a mile south of the Forbes Center.)

Note:  There is also a Wendy’s and El Charro on Rt 33/East Market street near where The Guitar & Amp Center used to be; don’t go there to find us.

Directions:
From I-81:  Take exit 245,
head west on Port Republic Road towards Route 11,
Turn Left on South Main/Route 11,
go 2/5 mile
Turn left onto Miller Circle just after Wendy’s

Our new location is about a mile and a half North of our former location.  Our neighbors on Miller circle are  Blue Sprocket sound, Bluestone Bike & Run (was: Mark’s Bike Shop),  Dominio’s Pizza and Funky’s Skate Center.
